ROY HODGSON has joined the race for Fulham full-back Ryan Fredericks.
The Crystal Palace boss is eyeing the 25-year-old as Joel Ward has not agreed a new contract and could leave for free this summer.

Fredericks is also on a Bosman and has attracted interest after putting Fulham on the promotion trail in the Championship.
West Ham have watched the former Tottenham right-back and there has also been interest from Arsenal.
Hodgson has helped Aaron Wan-Bissaka break into the first team at Selhurst Park but is looking for competition if Ward goes.
Fredericks has not agreed a new deal with Fulham but could face a dilemma if they seal promotion to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, West Ham are hoping to land both Fredericks and Fulham team-mate Tom Cairney this summer.
Hammers’ boss David Moyes likes both players and is ready to pounce, according to TeamTalk.

Scot Cairney, 27, has been one of the standout performers in the Championship over the last two seasons.
This year he was in the top three at the EFL Player of the Year awards, which saw team-mate Ryan Sessegnon pick up the award ahead of Wolves’ Ruben Neves.
