Cristiano Ronaldo can pay his £2,700 fine for pushing referee in just 75 minutes and will rake in a staggering £1.9million during his five-match suspension

CRISTIANO RONALDO suffered a rush of blood to the head on Sunday night after being sent-off against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final first-leg.

The Real Madrid star, 32, shoved official Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea in the back as he was storming off the pitch after being shown a second yellow.

In a frenetic passage of play, Ronaldo scored a screamer to put Real 2-1 up against Barcelona, got booked celebrating and then saw yellow again for simulation, according to the ref.

The shove earned Ron a five-match ban – four for the shove, also the minimum possible punishment, with a further one-match ban for the red card itself.

On top of that, Ronaldo was forced to pay a £2,700 fine.

However, that’s little more than pocket change for CR7, who earns that in just 75 MINUTES.

The Portuguese ace earns a whopping £365,000 per week at Madrid, meaning it will take just over an hour to pay off the tiny fine.

In fact, during his five-game suspension, Ronaldo will also pocket close to £2million – at £1.9m – and that’s not including endorsement contracts.
