CRISTIANO RONALDO has bought majority shares in one of Portugal’s biggest digital agencies as he bids to expand his reach in cyberspace.
The Real Madrid star now controls Thing Pink and plans to use the agency to launch his own tech brand, known as 7LEGEND.

The four-time Ballon d’Or winner, who likes to be known by his brand name C7, plans to use the 7EGEND project to launch stand-alone tech products.
Thing Pink has worked with Ronaldo before, producing all the digital content in his museum in his home town of Funchal.
The Portugal captain opened the CR7 Museum, which is dedicated to his own success, in 2013.
Inside are hundreds of trophies, signed shirts and personal items that stem the course of his illustrious career.
Thing Pink, who have also produced apps for McDonald’s and Porto FC, describe themselves as “a multidisciplinary team of thinkers, strategists, designers, engineers, producers, pirates and proud geeks, reshaping digital experiences and ecosystems.”
Ronaldo posted a cryptic video showing the symbol of 7EGEND on his Instagram account earlier this month, with the words “Going Digital”.
