TONY MOWBRAY has resigned as manager of League One Coventry City.
The former Middlesbrough boss has been in charge of the Sky Blues for 18 months, and leaves with the club at the bottom of the division.

The Coventry boss resigned after failing to win any of his first 10 games of the season.
The club are rock bottom of League One with six points and drew with AFC Wimbledon on Wednesday night.
He said it was ‘pride’ that forced him to step down.

The former West Brom, Middlesbrough and Celtic boss, said: “Ten games, bottom line, the pride in me says that’s unacceptable. Let someone else have a go at it.
“Let’s hope the lads can go to Port Vale and get a result at the weekend.
“It wouldn’t surprise me.
“By waiting, carrying on and losing your job in a different way then that leaves a financial burden on the club, so I feel it’s right to walk away and not do that because the club needs every penny.
“The players are babies in a man’s league. The run is embarrassing. But I’m a man of honour.”
