Conor McGregor reopens feud with Floyd Mayweather with sick tweet

CONOR McGREGOR has sent a sick tweet in Floyd Mayweather’s direction taunting the unbeaten boxing legend about a “funeral home”.

The controversial Irishman lost their megabucks boxing showing in Las Vegas and there has been talk of a rematch, this time in McGregor’s MMA domain.

It’s odds-on the showdown will NOT happen but McGregor obviously thought an open invite might push things along.

In a thinly-veiled dig at the ‘safer’ world of boxing, he took to Twitter to show the two fighters in UFC action.

And McGregor’s caption read: “Shin bone to the cheek bone. The rule set kept you out the funeral home.”

McGregor has been left “shaking in bed for two days” by a serious virus and was forced to cancel his New Year’s Eve bash.

He revealed that the potentially deadly Aussie flu has struck him and half of his entire family down.

“New Year’s Eve party cancelled at the last minute and I am left shaking in bed the past two days.”

But he was well enough to fire his Tweet across the Atlantic to Mayweather, the retired king of the ring who amazingly won world titles in five divisions.

Despite the scary news, 29-year-old brawler Conor had some positive words in his Instagram post.

He said: “I’ll leave that with the rest of the bad behind me in 2017 and take with me the many great experiences I’ve had this year!”

Whether that includes multi-millionaire Mayweather into the octagon remains to be seen.
