Chicago Bears star Zach Miller suffers sickening leg injury on DISALLOWED touchdown
CHICAGO BEARS star Zach Miller suffered a truly sickening leg break on this disallowed touchdown.
The tight end leapt into the air to catch a pass from quarterback Mitchell Trubisky but landed awkwardly on his left leg.
As he returned to ground Miller’s kneecap snapped beneath him in the end zone.
Miller’s shin then jutted out in front as his body collapsed in a heap on the floor.
The 33-year-old was rushed to hospital with a dislocated kneecap, the Bears confirmed.
There looked like there could have been some good news for Miller and his side when his touchdown against the New Orleans Saints was believed to have stood.

But officials overturned the decision on the field and ruled an incomplete pass.
The play occurred late in the third quarter on a third-down play and the Bears went on to lost 20-12.
Their coach John Fox confirmed the extent of Miller’s injury after the game.
A tweet from the Bears’ official account said: “John Fox confirms Zach Miller dislocated his knee and was taken to a local hospital: ‘Our thoughts and prayers are with him’.”
