Cheltenham Festival 2018 – Nick Gifford’s Didtheyleaveuoutto to head straight to the Champion Bumper

IMPRESSIVE Ascot winner Didtheyleaveuoutto is set to head straight to the Cheltenham Festival.

Trainer Nick Gifford has decided against giving him another run before the Weatherbys Champion Bumper for which he is a best priced 8-1 shot.

He was last seen beating a talented field at Ascot in a Listed contest.

Gifford told At The Races: “He’s going to go straight to Cheltenham. Barry (Geraghty) said at the time (at Ascot) we didn’t need to run him again because he’s so professional.

“He’s a good ground horse, so there’s no point dragging him through the mud at this time of year.

“We’ll freshen him up and go straight there.”
