JUVENTUS have made initial contact with Chelsea over a move to sign Gary Cahill.
The Serie A champions are in desperate need of a new centre-back, having lost Leonardo Bonucci to AC Milan.

And Cahill has endured a nightmare start to the season, earning a red card on the opening day defeat to Burnley.
It has been an uncharacteristically frustrating summer on the transfer front for Juventus.
Having lost Bonucci, a player Conte was desperate to bring to Stamford Bridge, they have failed to land either of their top targets in Jerome Boateng and Diego Godin as replacements.
