Chelsea transfer news: Franck Kessie wanted by 20 top European clubs as agent reveals huge interest in Atalanta star

CHELSEA face a battle with 19 other clubs for the signature of Atalanta star Franck Kessie.

That’s according to his agent, who claims the midfielder is wanted by ‘the best in Europe.’

Kessie is expected to make a big move this summer and Chelsea are one of the front-runners for his signature.

Manchester United have also been linked, with Kessie previously admitting that he ‘dreams’ of playing at Old Trafford.

However, it appears that a large number of clubs on the continent are also keen on landing the 20-year-old Ivorian.

Representative George Atangana claims that 20 clubs in total are looking to pounce, with Napoli specifically named as an ‘attractive’ destination.

The agent told Radio Kiss Kiss: “There are at least 20 clubs following the lad, including the best in Europe.

“We haven’t spoken to Aurelio De Laurentiis yet. We’ll talk about the transfer market in June.

“Napoli is an attractive club, they have a great coach in Maurizio Sarri. His price? Whoever wants him will have to invest a lot.”
