Chelsea transfer news: Antonio Rudiger scouted AGAIN by Antonio Conte as Blues boss steps up pursuit of Roma star
CHELSEA have stepped up their pursuit of Antonio Rudiger after sending scouts to watch the Roma star for the second time in a fortnight.
Blues boss Antonio Conte is reportedly looking to sign a new centre-back this summer and it’s believed 24-year-old Rudiger is at the top of his wishlist.

And the word coming out of Italy is that representatives from Stamford Bridge were sat in the stands to monitor Rudiger during Roma’s Coppa Italia defeat to city rivals Lazio last night.
Whether Luciano Spalletti would entertain an offer for one of his best players remains to be seen.

But the riches on offer in England, plus the chance to work with ex-Juventus and Italy manager Conte, could prove too tempting to turn down for Rudiger.
The report from TMW adds that Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was also of interest to the Chelsea scouts, although Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko is their top target in the centre of the park.
