Chelsea transfer news: Alvaro Morata looks set to stay at Real Madrid as he joins Zinedine Zidane’s side for pre-season training

ALVARO MORATA looks to have ruled out a move away from Real Madrid this summer – and says he ‘can’t wait to get started’.

The Spanish international, 23, was the subject of a £63million bid from Chelsea but Real told the Blues he wasn’t for sale.

And after returning from two years at Juventus, Morata says he is more excited than ever to get started at the Bernabeu.

He said: “I can't wait for tomorrow to arrive so we can get to work.
“It is incredible to be here again. It is a dream come true and I can't wait to get started.

"I can't wait for tomorrow to arrive so we can get to work. Zidane works hard and does a lot of physical work.

"I have had two great years at Juventus, I learned a lot and I can only be thankful because without this experience I would not be here”.

Morata returned to Madrid after two years in Italy, after the Spaniards made sure to include a buy-back clause in his contract.

And Zinedine Zidane sees him as the perfect young talent to compliment the front three of Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Chelsea were desperate to land the talented youngster, who looked the part for Spain despite their early exit from Euro 2016.
