Former Blues stopper Cudicini, 42, joined Antonio Conte‘s backroom staff in July following a decade at Stamford Bridge between 1999 and 2009, with his first season a stint on loan from Italian side Castel di Sangro.
Following his ten years in west London, he moved just north to Tottenham where he warmed the bench for three years before a season in the MLS with LA Galaxy.
But now Cudicini is back at Roman Abramovich‘s Chelsea, taking on a dual role of club ambassador and assistant to first team coach.
