Roman Abramovich is prepared to offer the Belgian international a new and improved contract, despite the 26-year-old signing an extension back in February 2015.
Hazard is currently thought to be earning £200,000-a-week, but amid speculation he could be set to depart Stamford Bridge for Spain, the Blues will begin contract negotiations next month where he could earn £300,000-a-week.
However in a recent Q&A session with the West Londoners official club website, the former Lille man revealed he would be happy to remain in the capital.

Answering a question where he sees himself living after he retires, Hazard said: “Maybe I will live in Belgium, to be close to the family, or else I could go somewhere with nice weather.
“My kids are very settled in London so it could be here, that’s a long way off yet so we will see.”
After a disappointing campaign last year, Hazard has thrived this season playing under Antonio Conte and has chipped in with 11 goals in all competitions – including a superb solo goal against rivals Arsenal.
