DIEGO COSTA’S one hundredth game as a Blue resulted in yet another goal and three more points for runaway league leaders Chelsea.
The Spain international has now found the back of the net 15 times in the Premier League this season after helping his side to a 2-0 win over Hull on Sunday.

And Costa’s latest effort means he has scored 52 times since moving to west London from Atletico Madrid in 2014.
Those are some seriously impressive numbers considering how poor Costa was last year under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink.
But it gets better for Chelsea fans, with Costa also assisting 17 goals in a Blue shirt – meaning he’s played a direct role in 69 goals.

Diego Costa’s Chelsea career so far

Of his 100 appearances, 91 of them have been starts – and Costa has helped himself to a goal every 157 minutes on average.
But the infamously short-tempered attacker has also picked up 24 yellow cards during his Stamford Bridge spell, not to mention one red card.

And it would be fair to say that without the calming presence of Antonio Conte, Costa’s card collection could be a lot higher.
The striker has kept a surprisingly cool head this season despite his reputation, and it appears all his aggression has been channelled into scoring more and creating more goals.
