Fierce rivals Inter have already been putting their Chinese money to good use and Milan chiefs are desperate to play catch-up.

The Mirror claims £110million has been put aside for new players, and top of the pile is Chelsea ace Fabregas.

The playmaker has struggled to cement a place in the starting XI under Antonio Conte this season.

But Fabregas has still be utilised in important games, with his vision and technique helping the Blues record some vital wins.

However, it could be difficult for Chelsea to reject a huge bid for the Spaniard as he eyes a place at next year’s World Cup.

Conte is also keen on signing more robust midfielders such as Tiemoue Bakayoko to complement his 3-4-3 formation.

And Fabregas’ departure would free up space for the Monaco man, as well as any other stars Chelsea fancy bringing in.
