Chelsea fans claim Michy Batshuayi deserves chance despite record Alvaro Morata signing after his double against Arsenal

CHELSEA fans are begging Antonio Conte to give Michy Batshuayi a chance after his brilliant brace against Arsenal.

Just after £75million Alvaro Morata touched down in Singapore, Batshuayi reminded his boss what he can do against the Gunners.

The Belgian striker – who played second fiddle to Diego Costa last season – curled a beauty inside the far post to make it 2-0 after Willian’s opener.

And he added a second in the second half to leave fans clamouring for him to get more game time.

After his social media antics delighted supporters last season, Batshuayi has plenty of people on his side.

And he was at it again after full-time, jokingly complaining about another disallowed goal – and even having asking FIFA makers to upgrade his ratings for the new games.

He wrote: “Two goals + 1 disallowed (really?!) + 1 assist… was a good day overall.

“Very happy with this start.”

Morata has been signed to replace top scorer Costa and will almost certainly start almost every game if fit.

Conte’s system only allows for one striker so unless Batshuayi wants to fill in out wide his situation looks to have changed little this summer.

And with the former Marseille hitman, 23, desperate to continue his development he may have to leave Stamford Bridge.

Costa, meanwhile, has apparently trolled the club as the wantaway star liked an Instagram post confirming Morata’s arrival.

The Spain striker, 28, is set to leave the Blues this summer after a public row with boss Conte.
