Bremen are keen to keep hold of the 29-year-old but wouldn’t block a deal if they receive an offer in the region of £16 million according to the German outlet Sport Bild.
The German has spent one season at Bremen scoring 15 goals in 24 appearances.
Four of those goals came in one game against Ingolstadt to maintain a 10-match win streak for the club.
However for £16 million Antonio Conte could sign Kruse as a rotation option.
Meanwhile Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp should already be familiar with Kruse after regularly facing him in the Bundesliga during his time as Borussia Dortmund’s manager.
