RISING Chelsea star Ethan Ampadu has been ruled out for the rest of the season after fracturing his ankle.
The 17-year-old defender suffered the major setback during Chelsea’s 4-2 victory over Real Madrid in the Uefa Youth League last week.

Ampadu is massively regarded among the Chelsea coaches having broken into the first team this season.
The Wales international was set to play a part in Ryan Giggs’ new tenure as Dragons manager but was forced to pull out a few days ago.
And now he will begin his rehabilitation and hope to be back to his best before the start of the next campaign.
Ampadu, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, joined the club from Exeter last summer.

He made his senior debut in the EFL Cup against Nottingham Forest becoming the youngest player to represent the club in over 10 years.
Last year he made his league debut as a substitute against Huddersfield and Chelsea believe he can become a regular in the side in the near future.
