MANCHESTER UNITED were absolutely taken apart on Jose Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge in one of their worst performances for decades.
After just 30 seconds, Pedro nipped in ahead of David de Gea and the shocking Daley Blind to put Chelsea ahead, and things just went downhill from there.

Gary Cahill then made it 2-0 midway through the first half with Chris Smalling slow to react to the loose ball in the penalty area.
Jose Mourinho’s day didn’t get any better in the second half when his arch nemesis at Chelsea, Eden Hazard, slotted past De Gea just after the hour to make it 3-0.
But the pick of the goals came with 20 minutes left when N’Golo Kante, of all people, did his best Diego Maradona impression, leaving Chris Smalling spinning to make it 4-0.

The game could have been different if David Luiz had received more than a booking for a high first half tackle on Marouane Fellaini, but United were so poor it might not have made a difference.
