STEVEN DEFOUR inspired Burnley to a comfortable win over Championship strugglers Bristol City.
The Belgian midfielder created Sam Vokes’ opener in first-half stoppage time before clinching it with a fine finish after the break.

Sean Dyche’s Clarets were never troubled by the Robins – who left top-scorer Tammy Abraham on the bench – as they made it six wins in a row at their Turf Moor fortress.

Facts, stats, goals and lols
- Lee Johnson got the vote of confidence from his board this week – but surely they can’t keep losing and keep him in the job.
- Leaving striker Tammy Abraham on the bench was perhaps an admission from Johnson where his priorities lie.
- Just under 15,000 turned up for this one – not bad considering the filthy conditions in East Lancashire.

- Burnley look as safe as ccan be in the middle of the table – yet Sean Dyche still made eight changes with one eye on Leicester.
- Steven Defour was linked with a move to China at the start of the month – the Clarets will be keen to keep him on this evidence.
- This makes it 10 wins in all competitions at Turf Moor for the Clarets this season – teams really don’t like coming here. Nobody will fancy it in Round Five either.
- Joey Barton looks like he has never been away from Burnley. A few eyebrows were raised when they re-signed the midfielder – but he seems a good fit here.
