British NFL star Jay Ajayi does Superman dive for 46-yard touchdown on Philadelphia Eagles debut

JAY AJAYI does a Superman-style dive into the end zone for an incredible 46-yard touchdown on his debut with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The London-born running back was traded by the Miami Dolphins on deadline after falling out with coaches in Florida.

But their loss certainly looks Doug Pederson’s game with Ajayi dismantling the previously unbreakable Denver Broncos defence.

Ajayi’s break was his first touchdown of the season.

And it was also the first rushing TD the Denver defence had given up through their first eight games.

Ajayi was far from alone in bursting into the end zone for the Eagles, with the hosts running in seven overall – four courtesy of the arm of Carson Wentz.

They all came part of a 23-51 hammering, with Ajayi running for 77 yards in total.

The Eagles (8-1) rightly head into a bye week with the best record in the NFL after winning their seventh straight game.

Meanwhile the Broncos fell to their fourth loss in a row and their fifth in six games.

That was mostly down to quarterback Wentz, who notched his third four-touchdown performance in the past five weeks.
