A Bristol City coach has launched a public appeal after losing his mobile phone celebrating on the pitch after their Carabao Cup win over Manchester United.
Performance analyst Sam Stanton joined in the jubilant scenes after the Championship club’s stunning 2-1 quarter-final win over United.

But he got so carried away with the emotion of the dramatic last-gasp win over Jose Mourinho’s side he ended up dropping his iPhone.
And now Stanton has appealed to the City fans who were with him on the turf at Ashton Gate to see if any of them picked it up.
Stanton tweeted: “If any #BristolCity fans found an iPhone on the pitch last night please let me know. Got a little carried away …. @bcfctweets”
The hope is one of the revellers who mobbed the players during the pitch invasion spotted the handset on the floor and picked it up.
