Benjamin’s family held up a shirt dedicated in his name as the referee blew the final whistle at the Ashton Gate Stadium.
He was a fit, healthy and popular young boy who played for his local team Portishead Town Sparks.
His team-mates were flagbearers on Saturday for the Championship match.
Before he sadly passed away, Ben was visited by City’s players, Lee Johnson and his coaching team.
