The 19-year-old is considered one of the country’s best young talents.

Chelsea clearly see the young bounty hunter as one for the future.

But, in the meantime, are happy to offer him a renewed contract and loan him out again to give Abraham the best possible chance to fulfil his potential.

The Blues are determined to manage the player’s career carefully.

Last season they could have signed Brazilian striker Gabigol, 20, because they rate Abraham so highly and don’t want to block his ultimate Abraham’s path into the first team.

Brighton, meanwhile, are among a queue of clubs interested in signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who is also expected to be allowed to leave Chelsea on a season-long loan.
