Brighton goalkeeper David Stockdale scores TWO own goals in the opening period after the ball bounces off the woodwork and hits him
DAVID STOCKDALE had a first half to forget as he scored TWO identical own goals against Norwich City.
The Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper succumbed not once, but twice to shots cannoning against the woodwork and onto him and into the back of the net.

Alex Pritchard was the man who saw his attempts crash against the woodwork, but fortunately for the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Stockdale was on hand to assist him.
A win for the Seagulls at Carrow Road would see them clinch the Sky Bet Championship table, but the Canaries had other ideas.
It’s lucky that Chris Hughton’s side were already promoted going into the game as luck was not on their side in the opening period.

Stockdale's first own goal came in the 18th minute, when Pritchard's superb strike from outside of the box struck the crossbar and onto the shot-stopper's back.
Then Brighton thought they should have been awarded a penalty after Jamie Murphy was brought down in the box, but the appeals were waved away by Tim Robinson.
Norwich then went down the other end in the 39th minute and Pritchard again tried his luck from distance, this time his shot hit the post before bouncing in off the 31-year-old.
