RICHMOND winner Barraquero still has the option of the Prix Morny at Deauville later this month.
Trainer Brian Meehan is expected to make a decision on his participation in the race at the end of the week.

Meehan said: “He is in good shape and is just having a few days off. I’m not sure whether he will go to the Morny yet. I will see what the owners say and decide at the end of the week.
“I was really keen on going there, but I might just bring him back and give him an extra bit of time as he is a horse with a future.
Barraquero has a bright future ahead of him PA “Physically he has a lot of scope and he is a really exciting prospect.”
Although the two-year-old is currently second favourite for next year’s Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot, an outing in the QIPCO 2,000 Guineas has not been ruled out.

"It is wonderful to have the Commonwealth Cup as an alternative as it means you don't have to campaign them over a mile in the spring as there is that lovely alternative programme.
"What it is doing is keeping those sort of horses in the country rather than being sold abroad."
