Bradford City owners announce they will charge just a quid if the team reach the Premier League
BRADFORD CITY’S German owners have announced they will charge just £1 per match if the team reach the Premier League.
Co-owner Edin Rahic says he can afford to be so generous in the top flight thanks to TV money, in order to give back to the fans and improve the atmosphere at Valley Parade.

Further still, former financial director of washing machine giants Bosch Rahic, who owns the club alongside fellow German Stefan Rupp, believe they can make a profit.
Even before the duo bought the club, becoming the first Germans to delve into English football, the Bantams had some of the most affordable tickets and lowest season tickets in the league – with average attendances now at a huge 18,000 for League 1.

And it seems to work, having not lost at home in more than a year with Saturday’s 2-1 win over Swindon keeping them in the play-offs.
It is a bold claim, but former Yugoslavia youth international Rahic told The Times: “It’s our dream, of course, to be in the Premier League and, if we get there, the tickets will be £1 per game.’
