MARC BARTRA completed his recovery from the April terror attack on his Borussia Dortmund team bus by marrying his beautiful girlfriend Melissa Jimenez.
The former Barcelona defender returned to the Spanish city to tie the knot with the Grand Prix motorcycle racing journalist.
The 26-year-old suffered a broken wrist before the Champions League tie against Monaco, he had surgery on his radial bone and needed shrapnel removed from his hand.
But he showed no signs of any lasting damage as exchanged rings with the mother of his one-year-old daughter Gala.
Bartra said: “’And the big day arrived and the wait is long because of the enormous desire to see her in white walking towards me.
“In front of all those people that we both love and that mean so much to us.
“I’m going to fulfill another dream, The dream with the most love and feeling of my life, because you are the woman I have always dreamed of!”
The pair sipped from matching champagne glasses to celebrate their big day that celebrated their three-year relationship.

Jiminez explained on her lifestyle blog that she had been pampering herself for the big day.
She wrote: “What I see is that time has flown by and my wedding is already here.
“This week I have gone to the top finishing details and especially organizing my set-up for the big day: sunbathing, manicure, pedicure, hair removal, facials and body treatments - everything to be perfect and I think I'm ready!”
