ARGENTINE giants Boca Juniors expect to re-sign Chinese Super League flop Carlos Tevez in the coming days.
Fans around the world were shocked when the veteran striker, 33, turned his back on his boyhood club for a controversial Far East switch at the start of 2017.

Free-spending Shanghai Shenhua made Tevez the best-paid player in the world with wages in excess of £600,000-a-week.
But the former Manchester United and Manchester City ace was written off as a dud after just one goal in 16 appearances, and he has since gone AWOL following the end of the CSL season.
Shanghai have ordered Tevez to link up with his team-mates by Boxing Day as they look to get preparations underway for the new campaign.
But Boca claim he’s now on the verge of returning to the Argentine capital for a third spell at the club.

Vice-president Horacio Paolini told TyC Sports: “I’m constantly in touch with Carlos and we met last week for a meal. I’d say his return will be closed in a few days.”
Shanghai will probably be grateful to offload Tevez, who still has a year remaining on his mega-money contract.

Manager Mao Yijun said: “It’s safe to stay Tevez’s performances didn’t really reach our expectations.
“He didn’t reach his top performance because of his [injury] condition. We are still discussing his future with the club.”
