‘Beast from the East’ causes chaos as Southwell the only meeting to survive on Friday and ITV racing from Doncaster, Newbury and Kelso all abandoned on Saturday

SOUTHWELL is the only track racing on Friday after the other FIVE race meetings were cancelled this Friday due to the extreme weather conditions .

Dundalk, Chelmsford, Newbury and Doncaster were all abandoned earlier in the week.

Lingfield’s card failed an 8am inspection which leaves only Southwell running.

There are a number of non-runners at the meeting with many trainers having travel difficulties.
