BAYERN MUNICH star Mats Hummels will miss Friday night’s clash with Bayer Leverkusen… after welcoming a son into the world.
Hummels shared a picture of himself, wife Cathy and their new-born son – with his face covered by a “baby” emoji – looking tired but delighted.

The German captioned the post: “Look who decided to join us today. Welcome to this beautiful world!
“We are incredibly happy and I couldn’t be more proud of my wife and my little son who are both doing well.”
Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes revealed the news that Hummels would not be playing – along with injured Robert Lewandowksi.
Heynckes revealed: “Lewandowski and Hummels will not be available.

“I am happy that both have trained partly with the team and both feel well.
“We will be able to increase their training schedule from next Monday, but it would be negligent to let them play.
TIME TO GO Five players each of the Premier League top six need to sell this January, including Theo Walcott and Daniel Sturridge
“That’s why both are not part of the squad.”
There is good news for Bayern and Heynckes though, as Joshua Kimmich should be fit to play following illness.
