Bayern Munich join Manchester United in race for Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann
BAYERN MUNICH are ready to challenge Manchester United for the signature of Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann.
The French striker has long-been on United’s radar, with an £85million bid mooted to meet his release clause.

But United fans will feel a sense of unease by the news that Bayern are also in for Griezmann, with the German giants assured of Champions League football this season, while United are not.
But as United hesitated over Louis van Gaal’s future, with Jose Mourinho then set to come in and replace the Dutchman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge stepped in with a bid Benfica could not refuse and swooped him from under the Red Devils’ noses.

The Metro are reporting, via Bild, that Carlo Ancelotti is ready to bolster his attacking ranks with the likes of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben in the twilight of their careers.
Ancelotti also has to replace club captain Philipp Lahm next season, Bayer Leverkusen’s Bejamin Henrichs has been mooted in the German media as a likely candidate.
