BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER’S Manchester United revival continues after being added to Jose Mourinho’s Europa League squad.
The German midfielder was left off the initial 25-man group at the start of the season but can now feature for the Red Devils on Thursday nights after impressing his boss with some fine recent performances.

Schweinsteiger has managed to turn around a dire situation at Old Trafford to become a regular member of the first team once again.
Mourinho was adamant the veteran would be sold last summer, but no buyers came forward despite Schweinsteiger being dropped to the reserves.
However, he was handed a reprieve before December’s heavy winter schedule and could now feature in United’s Europa League last-32 clash against French side Saint-Etienne.

Schweinsteiger’s opportunity comes at the expense of Morgan Schneiderlin, who was sold to Everton for £20million during the January transfer window.
He still has 17 months left on his contract but whether there’s a role for him next season remains to be seen.
