YORKSHIRE derbies bring high tension and noisy crowds.
But this weekend’s clash carries additional pressure to both Barnsley and Leeds.
Leeds may be seven points above Barnsley but their solid start to the season, where they went eight games without a loss, is a distant memory.
Thomas Christiansen’s side come with unsteady form of late, having conceded ten goals in the last four fixtures and were almost a month without a win before they beat Middlesbrough.
The Whites fare well historically in this fixture, but the pressure is mounting, particularly on Christiansen’s ability to deliver, but Barnsley are buzzing to have the home advantage.
When the teams met in January, The Tykes were victorious but both teams will come into this match desperate for three points.
The pressure is piled on Thomas Christiansen who has led Leeds during a difficult time
