Barcelona want Angel Di Maria from PSG with Andre Gomes in Juventus talks over whopping £46million deal

BARCELONA are reportedly looking to sell Andre Gomes in order to fund a move for Angel Di Maria.

Spanish newspaper Sport claims the Catalans are currently in talks with Juventus over a deal for Portugal international Gomes.

The ex-Valencia star has struggled to make an impression at the Nou Camp and he will be allowed to leave for the right price.

Offloading Gomes should also provide Barcelona with enough funds to pursue top central midfield target and Paris Saint-Germain ace Di Maria, with chiefs hoping to receive over £46million.

However, the report adds Juventus are only willing to go as high as £27m, and Barca may have to lower their expectations in order to strike a deal.

Meanwhile, the Spaniards remain extremely keen on signing Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool.

The playmaker is desperate to quit Anfield before Thursday’s deadline but Jurgen Klopp does not want to sell.

But Coutinho remains Barca’s first choice to replace Neymar in the front three and they will be hoping to make some progress after already seeing three bids rejected.
