BARCELONA star Lionel Messi has sent former team-mate Neymar a heartfelt Christmas message… and present.
The Brazilian forward, 25, left Barca to join Paris Saint-Germain in a record £198million deal in the summer, with the pair staying close friends.

And on Thursday, Messi shared an emotional video clip of himself telling Neymar how much he “missed” him.
Argentine wizard Messi said: “Well, Ney… I think we said practically everything to each other when you left.
“The truth is that here we are still missing you.
“We would like to keep sharing the mates [a South American hot drink] in the morning with Luis in the dressing room and many more things.

“Like always, I wish you the best wherever you are and I’m sure we will cross again on or off the pitch very soon.
“Take care of yourself.”

Neymar replied to the message: “Brother, thanks. For me, you are an idol and also a great friend. Big hugs.”

Meanwhile, Luis Suarez has sent Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho a bottle of vodka for Christmas after drawing him in the same Secret Santa set up by Neymar himself.
In his clip, Suarez says: “Now I’m going to reveal my Secret Santa, it’s my little brother, Philippe Coutinho.
“Well, Philippe, your Secret Santa was me and from Barcelona I send you a gift that I know you’ll like a lot because I know you’re going to remember the good times that we have and that we live.”
Coutinho reveals the bottle and laughs: “What the f***!
“When Luis was here his wife liked to drink it and so did I. Thank you.”
