BARCELONA have postponed Philippe Coutinho’s unveiling – following his £140million move from Liverpool – via WhatsApp, according to reports in Spain.
The Brazilian has forced thorough his Anfield exit and was scheduled to be paraded around the Nou Camp before the La Liga clash with Levante on Saturday afternoon.
But Mundo Deportivo have reported that staff were informed the celebration was cancelled so the players could focus on the game.
The message said: “The player will not be in the stadium.
“Out of respect for the competition his day will be on Monday and therefore everyone will be focused on Levante.”
