JURGEN KLOPP has admitted he has no idea if Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho will still be at Liverpool in 2018.
The Anfield side did well to keep in him in the summer when Barca pulled out all the stops – and their old transfer tricks – to try to lure the Brazilian away.

But the winter window is just weeks away and there is a strong suspicion there will be another battle to keep the Brazil playmaker on the Kop books.
And, ahead of Wednesday night’s game with Spartak Moscow, the German boss admitted he is clueless about his star man’s future.
He said: “I don’t think about it for one second. I’m not unsure, I’m not sure.
“Nobody knows what will happen in January.”

One thing Klopp is sure about is that he owes Brighton boss Chris Hughton an apology after their clash at the weekend.
Liverpool thumped five past the seagulls and the usually mild-mannered manager reacted angrily to the German’s antics at the final whistle.

Klopp explained: “It was a misunderstanding. I have to apologise.
“I didn’t do something wrong on purpose. I wanted to shake Chris’ hand and then Mo Salah crossed my way and I gave him a hug.
“It wasn’t on purpose. I think and hope that everything is fine.”
