DOUGLAS could miss Sporting’s clash with parent club Barcelona – after injuring his bum on the team coach.
The loanee has got off to a rocky start in Gijon due to a number of injury problems.

And the Brazilian right-back, 26, suffered yet another setback which meant he could not train with his team-mates ahead of tomorrow’s clash.
Sporting fitness coach, Gerardo Ruiz, claimed Douglas fell asleep on the bus in an uncomfortable position on the four-hour trip from Gijon to Vigo and woke up with a pain in the backside.
He was only able to do a solo workout in the gym, after which he tweeted: “I’m physically fine, ready, I was just doing a personal workout.”

Douglas has only played one of Sporting’s five La Liga games this season.
The defender played just 379 minutes in two seasons at the Nou Camp after arriving from Sau Paulo in 2014.
His Sporting career first hit a bum note when Spanish outlet Sport claim he staged a sit-in protest about his loan move.
Douglas – under contract until 2019 – reportedly had no intention of leaving Barcelona and refused to sign a loan contract – “squatting” in an office instead.

He was apparently so upset at being asked to do so, that a club lawyer had to be called in before he finally relented and agreed the switch.
Douglas was blasted following his second start for Barcelona and was relegated to the third-choice right-back slot shortly after his arrival in Spain.
And his injury issues are seriously hampering his chances of rebuilding with Sporting.
