BARCELONA could make a sensational ‘revenge’ swoop for Real Madrid star, Isco, when his contract runs out, according to reports in Catalonia.
The Spanish star has just 18 months left on his current deal, and is not a regular starter under Zinedine Zidane.

And Mundo Deportivo report Los Blancos’ Clasico rivals could wait patiently until his contract runs out and sign the midfielder on a free — as the timing would coincide with Andres Iniesta turning 34.

Moreover, Barcelona would see it a modicum of revenge for Real Madrid’s ‘unforgivable’ signing of Luis Figo in 2000.

The Portuguese superstar was at the height of his power when he made the controversial move — and became a hate figure among fans of the Catalan giants.
Isco’s move would not cause quite the same worldwide furore, but he would undoubtedly become an arch-enemy of the Madridistas.
He has recently admitted he would like to extend his contract and stay at the Bernabeu, but there has been no movement from the Champions League holders.
“I still have one-and-a-half years left on my current contract,” Isco said.
“But the club and I are both keen to renew. I hope we can sort something out.
“I am getting regular playing time now and I am happy to be able to help the team.”
