BARCELONA legend Ronaldinho has been unveiled as their new club ambassador… but he has been doing similar things before.
The Spanish giants revealed proudly today that the Brazilian, who spent five memorable campaigns at the Nou Camp between 2003 and 2008, would be back to represent them off the pitch.

He played 207 times for the Catalan club, scoring 94 goals and winning the Champions League in 2005-06 – as well as back-to-back Liga titles.
Ronaldinho moved on to AC Milan before finishing his career in his native Brazil in 2015 – but he is again back with Barca.

But the decision seems peculiar, as he appears to be already part of the club's setup - it was only last September when Barca opened a new US office in New York.
And who better to try enhance their brand internationally as their man in North American than Ronaldinho, who possesses great marketing power across the Atlantic.

And what's more, just last week he was back at another one of his old clubs PSG, where he was paraded round the pitch holding up a club scarf ahead of their Ligue 1 match at home to Monaco.
Nevertheless, if he was not back at Barca already, he is now to become a "representative at various events and activities over the coming years."
