Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde quizzed on Neymar’s weekend visit to training ground

BARCELONA boss Ernesto Valverde was quizzed about Neymar’s training ground catch-up with his former team-mates.

And the Spaniard was almost as evasive as the twinkle-toed Brazilian as he dodged the questions with a smile.

Asked if the £198million departure could come back, Valverde said: “Neymar to return?

“What a question. I always like these questions. People like to try and push me to say something.

“Let’s see what happens in the future but what am I going to say? I think it’s best if I say nothing really”

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar was pictured with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez over the weekend.

“Messi and Suarez, I’m glad to see you brothers.”

The official Barcelona Twitter account also shared a snap of Neymar surrounded by his former club-mates.

One likened him to a snake, another a rat, while another did the modern-classic “delete”.

While many jumped on the “traitor” bandwagon, others were more nostalgic, with one tweeting a “come back” GIF.
