Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez reveals he ‘used to pee blood after every game’ due to kidney injury in 2015
ATLETICO MADRID starlet Saul Niguez revealed he urinated blood after each training session and every match after playing with a catheter for the past two seasons.
The 22-year-old admits he risked his health in order to play first-team football with Atleti but he is now finally over the issue.

Saul experienced the problem after damaging his kidney against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League in 2015.
Speaking to Spanish television channel Mega, Saul said: “For the past two seasons I’ve been using a catheter and after every match or training session I would pee blood and it was certainly not an easy time for me.
“I was gambling with my health and driven by the desire to play first team football for Atleti.”
During the match, he was brought off in the 42nd minute before being diagnosed with a kidney hematoma.
