ANTOINE GRIEZMANN has not asked to leave Atletico Madrid and no one would pay his £85million release clause anyway, insists club president Enrique Cerezo.
The France striker has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United and admitted himself a switch this summer has a “six out of ten” chance of happening.

But Cerezo, president of the La Liga side since 2002, says there has not even been an approach for Griezmann.
And, even if one were to arrive, the striker would opt to stay put anyway.
Cerezo, asked about Griezmann saying he had a six out of ten chance of joining United, told RMC: “His recent comments do not surprise me. He gets asked the same question all the time.
“I think he is getting a little annoyed at having to answer the same question again and again when everyone knows his situation.

The prospect of joining Jose Mourinho's side was made more attractive after they won the Europa League last night.
That guarantees them a spot in next season's Champions League.
