Back in April this year, SunSport reported how Everton looked to be the hot favourites to sign the promising Nigerian.
The Toffees sent scouts over the North Sea to try to close a move for Onyekuru who could fill in for long-term crock Yannick Bolasie.
But now, according to Soccer Nigeria, the deal has been signed, sealed and delivered for Onyekuru to turn out in the red and white next season.
