ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger is eyeing a deal for Corinthians’ Brazilian wonderkid Maycon.
The 20-year-old midfielder has been watched by Gunners scouts on a number of occasions over the last few years.

He has impressed with his performances, and the reports back to England have been positive.
It is understood Corinthians want around £9m for Maycon, but will demand he returns on loan as part of the deal.
The youngster is also wanted by Italian giants Napoli, among a number of other clubs across Europe.
A source said: “Arsenal are very interested in Maycon. He has been watched a fair amount for more than a year.

“They have been impressed and he has a promising future. He is not really a player for now.
“There could be issues with getting him a visa. It would take a lot of work behind the scenes to get sorted.
“Arsenal have other priorities, so it could be one that happens in the summer, rather than now.”
