JAMIE CARRAGHER says Arsene Wenger should be sacked now as Arsenal’s woeful form in 2018 is revealed.
Arsenal’s humiliating 3-0 defeat to Manchester City was the SEVENTH time they have lost in 13 matches since the turn of the year

They are now an embarrassing 30 points behind the Premier League leaders – and ten adrift of the top four as the Gunners tumble further into the abyss.
Sky pundit Carragher claims Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke and chief executive Ivan Gazidis now have no other choice but to ace the Frenchman now.
Carragher said: “They’re not actually interested the Arsenal fans.
“There were a few boos at the end. Last season was anger but this time now it’s almost like resignation.

“Very few Arsenal fans want him as manager. When I was playing you were like “wow” he’s a legend.
“They have to change it. It has to be done.

“Make the decision now and try to give this fella a send-off. At this moment it isn’t good enough and there has to be change.
“It felt like the end watching that.”

Wenger has spent 22 years as manager, earning the status of club legend after leading the club to three Premier League titles.
But the last of those came in the Invincibles season of 2003-2004, and since then the club has tumbled further and further away from contention.
In recent years Kroenke and Gazidis appear to have been happy enough to settle for a top four finish and the Champions League football it brings the following season.
But unless there is a drastic turnaround in fortunes, the Gunners face a second straight year out of Europe’s top competition.
There is nothing in the club’s recent league form to suggest they can haul their way back into the battle for a top four spot.

Wenger has collected just SEVEN points from a possible 21 this year, losing four of those games.
Now the club face visiting Brighton this weekend with the South-Coast club licking their lips at the prospect of wreaking more havoc on Wenger’s stuttering side.

And Wenger is left having to decide whether he should rest some of his big players to ensure they are fit to face AC Milan in the Europa League next week.
Winning the competition appears to be the only realistic chance the Gunners have of making the Champions League next season.
But any repeat of the poor form of the past two months will see Milan pick them off and send them crashing out at the last 16 stage.
