Flamini enjoyed two spells with the Gunners and admits fans have a right to be angryGetty Images
And Flamini concedes he did not enjoy seeing his former club suffer, adding that fans have a right to be angry because they expect to see more from the team.
Flamini said: “It is painful because I am still an Arsenal fan. But it is an easy situation because they have so much quality in the team and I really believe they can do it.
“I really hope they will make it because they deserve to be in the Champions League. It is up to them.
