ARSENAL’S chief executive Ivan Gazidis is in Dortmund believed to be finalising a move to land striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Gazidis was spotted with Arsenal’s contract negotiator Huss Fahmy, along with chief scout Sven Mislantat – a recent acquisition from the Bundesliga side.

In the background was a super car thought to be that of Aubameyang’s.
The Gabon international posted a picture of the exact same distinct car to his Instagram back in December alongside the caption: “We are now ready to ride.”
Although Aubameyang was not spotted in the pictures exclusive to German publication Bild, it appears certain that the Arsenal duo were trying to get the deal over the line.
Gazidis was taking his luggage out of the boot of a car and was later snapped with a big grin on his face.

The Gunners have been in talks with Borussia Dortmund to land the wantaway striker to replace Alexis Sanchez.
Dortmund confirmed that Arsenal had made a bid for the rapid forward thought to be in the region of £44.1million.
The 28-year-old was left out of the squad that drew 1-1 to Hertha Berlin on Friday, which further stoked transfer speculation.
He was also suspended for “disciplinary reasons” in November last year after turning up late for training.

The deal could spark a busy transfer window for Arsenal.
Sanchez is expected to finalise his move to Manchester United within the coming days.
Red Devils midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was also in London with super agent Mino Raiola to complete his switch in the opposite direction.
