FORMER England boss Fabio Capello has emerged as a shocking contender to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.
At least that is what the bookies are saying after they made the Italian one of the favourites to take over once the Frenchman departs.

The 71-year-old Capello left his role with Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning this week by mutual consent.
He had only been in charge since June last year, but after a poor start to the season, the club have instead turned to Romanian Cosmin Olaroiu to lead them.
And his Fa East exit has instantly seen him installed as one of the frontrunners for the Gunners job with Ladbrokes.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s a new name in the mix but at 9/1, we’re far from writing Capello off when it comes to Arsenal replacing Wenger.”

Ex-Borussia Dortmund chief Thomas Tuchel remains the clear 6/4 favourite to succeed the long-serving Wenger.
Reports claimed over the weekend that he had already been in talks over a switch to London.

Another Italian, and old Chelsea boss, Carlo Ancelotti is also among the most-fancied with the firm, with his current price at 12/5.
And Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, who revealed last month it would be a dream to manage his old club, is fancied too.
LATEST ARSENAL NEWS
You can back him at 15/2 to be the next man in the Arsenal dug-out.
Another potential job for Capello could see him return to international management.

Joshua vs Parker: Tips and odds ahead of unification bout
ANTHONY JOSHUA has vowed to take his time and pick his shots, while Joseph Parker will be relying to land a big hit, writes Wally Downes Jr.
If AJ adopts his calculated approach, Parker will be on the back foot – but regardless of his tactics we back Joshua to win by stoppage.
And he could select his shots and KO the Kiwi in the later rounds.
But if Parker turns this bout into a scrap, which he needs to do, AJ could land his heavy right hand earlier on.
